I am excited for you. To be able to take home such a beautiful gift, whether that gift is to you, from you, or you received it from a loved one, a stranger, or perhaps someone you are now considering working on repairing a connection with, may this piece resonate with you and find you considering a more profound connection.
Caring for your jewelry is more than maintenance—it’s a moment of connection, gratitude, and mindfulness, a moment to slow down and breathe.
Angel Aberdeen pieces are imbued with meaning and potential for deep connection; caring for them honors both the craft and the affirmation they carry. With a little love and mindful care, your treasure will continue to hornor your light and story even as you pass it down for generations to come.
Even though I use a jewelry cloth, some of my favorite go to cloths are micro fiber cloths you can find for glasses. Fair warning! Once you have used a cloth to polish your treasure, save it to the side for your jewelry and never use it on a set of glasses again.
Physical Care
-
Gently wipe your piece with a soft, dry cloth after each wear.
-
Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, or cleaning agents.
-
Remove before swimming, bathing, or exercising.
-
Last on, first off: Jewelry should be the final touch as you dress for the day, and the first to be removed at the day's end.
- Store your treasure in small soft pouch, or perhaps the orginal box it came in, away from sunlight and moisture.
Energetic Care
- Intention holds weight. Even if you do not believe in metaphysical ideas, the power of intetion and assoication will give you a plat form to build a deeper connection to your treasure, to you, and to the world around you.
-
Take a quiet moment to hold your piece between your palms and breathe. Visit our meditations page and chose a small pratice for you.
-
Reflect on the affirmation inscribed within it—give your affirmation permission it to realign your thoughts and your prayers.
-
Metaphysical care: You may cleanse your piece by setting it under soft moonlight, beside a candle, or on a bed of salt or quartz.
- This is about building intention. The more you build into it, the more connected you will feel to your difinition of Source Divine.
A Reflection on Longevity
Anything beautiful was built through intentional time, repsect, Love... True beauty grows with time and care. Each small act of tending—physical or spiritual—keeps the piece radiant, just like tending to one’s own inner journey. May you feel your worth grow each time you play with your Angel Aberdeen piece. And, may you find your day with a smile within your heart.
